what we believe
good parents, new tools..
Most parents are not doing it wrong. We all do the best we can with the resources we were given, and for a lot of us those resources came from a childhood that looked nothing like the one we are trying to build.
You do not have to parent the way you were parented. Sometimes good parents simply need new tools so they can do things a little differently to what they experienced.
What if you could choose to upgrade those resources? Connect differently. Hold boundaries differently. Communicate differently. That is the whole work, and it is learnable.
for young people too
supporting the conversation both sides..
Kayla works with parents and young people, not just one or the other. She can support both sides to connect, to have the challenging conversations, and to build a relationship that holds even when things get messy.
With 14 years in out of home care and youth mental health, she is well equipped to provide mentoring support directly to young people who need a trusted adult outside the family system to help them make sense of what is going on.
Sometimes the best next step is for a young person to have their own space, and for the parent to have theirs. Both conversations are welcome here.

for schools, community and youth groups
workshops for young people..
Hands on, high energy sessions for groups of young people in schools, community programs, dance schools, sporting clubs and youth services. Every workshop below can be run as is, or custom built to suit the age group, the theme and what your young people actually need right now.

2 hours, experiential
future play: game of life
Young people navigate real life through a purpose built board game. Career choices, housing decisions, curveballs and a global crisis, all tracked across Wellbeing, Stability and Influence. Money is physical cash and the scoreboard is velcro. The winner is not the richest person in the room, it is the one who built the most complete life and knows exactly how they got there.
60 minutes, ages 12 to 25
the inner edit
A self leadership and mental wellness workshop. Participants check in honestly, explore what self leadership actually means, map their emotional state, identify who holds them up and build a personalised wellbeing plan, before handing off to a creative expression session. Real talk, no lectures, no forced positivity.
high energy, group based
unfiltered leadership
A leadership workshop that ditches the textbook definition and starts from scratch. Participants discover their leadership style, lock in their core values and test both in real world group scenarios. They leave with a leadership pledge that is theirs, not a copy of someone else's style.

8 questions. 3 minutes. A warm, honest look at where you are already strong and where a little support could change everything.
take the assessmentthe science..

the iceberg model
Behaviour is only the tip. Underneath sits need, fear, fatigue and unmet skill.

the pressure curve
A simple map for reading your own nervous system, noticing when you're steady, when you're heating up, and how to find your way back together.

mirror neurons
Your regulation becomes their co-regulation. Calm is contagious, so is chaos.
