the edit pathway
twelve weeks. two parts. one deliberate leader.
Two six week leadership programs, run in small groups, live online. Take the first. Then decide how deep you want to go.
next intake 13 OCTOBER 2026 · 12 places
start where you are
two starting points. one direction.
if this sounds like you, start with the first edit
- You were promoted because you were good at the work, and nobody explained that the job changed
- You are doing everything yourself because it is faster, then wondering why nobody steps up
- You have been rehearsing a conversation for three weeks and still have not had it
- Your team likes you and nothing is improving
- You take it all home with you
if this sounds like you, start with the deep edit
- You know exactly what you should have done, usually about twenty minutes afterwards
- You get short with people when the pressure is on and you cannot seem to stop it
- You have done leadership training before and it did not touch this
- You keep solving everything, then wonder why nobody else steps up
- You can feel your team adjusting to your mood
Not sure? Most people start with The First Edit. It is designed to be the beginning.
how it works
the first edit, then the deep edit.
6 weeks
the first edit
Know who you are and how you show up.
2 weeks
two week break
Apply it. Then decide.
6 weeks
the deep edit
Understand what drives you and lead from there.
You can stop after the first six weeks. Plenty of people do, and they leave with something real. The second six weeks is for the leaders who want the change to hold when it gets hard.
Note: The Christmas period does impact the standard two week break, so timing may shift slightly depending on the intake.
program one
the first edit
Know who you are and how you show up.
Six weeks of leadership foundations for people leading without a map. Each week does one job, and the next job cannot be done until the last one is finished. By the end you will not be a finished leader. You will be a deliberate one, and you will be able to explain exactly what you are doing and why.
what you leave with
- Language for who you are and how you land on others
- A trust model you can apply on purpose, not by accident
- Three conversation structures you have already used at least once
- A before and after leadership self-assessment
- Clarity on what you actually stand for, and the words to say it out loud
- You stop carrying what was never yours to carry
$1,450
Six 90 minute live sessions. Workbook, all tools and twelve months of resource access included.

the deep edit
Understand what drives you and lead from there.
Six weeks for leaders who know what to do and still do not do it when it counts. This is not more frameworks. It is the work on why you cannot reach the ones you already have. It opens with a full DISC profile, including who you become under pressure.
what you leave with
- A full DISC profile, including your behaviour under stress
- Your named pattern, its triggers, and your early warning signs
- A regulation protocol that works in the room, not twenty minutes later
- A diagnostic for what each person on your team needs from you right now
- An energy and time audit with one drain permanently closed
$2,250
Six 90 minute live sessions. Individual DISC assessment and debrief included, valued at $275. Workbook, all tools and twelve months of resource access.

the goal was never a perfect leader. it was a deliberate one.
You stop leading by accident. You know what kind of leader you are, what happens to you under pressure, and what to do about it in the moment rather than twenty minutes later. Your conversations are cleaner. Your decisions carry less residue. Your team stops managing you so they can get on with the work.
the format
how it runs.
live and online
Weekly 90 minute sessions. Nothing pre-recorded, nothing you watch alone.
capped at twelve
Small enough that you cannot hide, and small enough that it is safe not to.

Kayla is brilliant! Our company did the DISC assessment seminar with her last week and it was a fantastic team building exercise. She presented the personality types in a way where everyone felt seen, highlighted the strengths of each type and explained ways the team can work even better with each other. Highly recommend.

I recently attended a speaker presentation led by Kayla from The Rogue Edit, and I was incredibly impressed. Her presentation was not only insightful but also highly relevant to our business needs. Kayla's approach to leadership is both practical and thought-provoking, offering clear strategies that we can implement right away. The way she engaged with the audience and tailored her advice to our specific challenges made the experience even more valuable. I left feeling inspired and equipped with new tools to improve our business. Highly recommend Kayla to anyone looking to enhance their leadership skills!

I recently did a leadership course with Kayla, it was so engaging, insightful and empowering. Kayla is so knowledgeable and truly excels at what she does, I'd highly recommend her workshops for all current and aspiring leaders as she genuinely brings out the best in people with her bubbly personality and expertise combined! I can't wait for the rest of my team to do some workshops with Kayla! :)

I had the honour of attending a Rogue Bites session, with the amazing leadership coach Kayla Fernance. My business is growing and I'm in the position to look at bringing on staff members. My main goal is to be a 'leader' and not just a boss and to create a cohesive working environment where everyone feels supported. Kayla provides the right education and skills to guide me on my journey to successful leadership. It would be a mistake to not do one of her sessions!!

Kayla is amazing at analysing your business and addressing exactly what you need. I have never felt so confident and comfortable in the direction we are taking with her to deliver the best result for our team. Cannot recommend her highly enough!!

I attended the behavioural workshop in Maclean to help me gain some advice and practical skills to navigate some of the challenging behaviours I experience with my 22 year old son who has a disability. I was so impressed with the information I received and for someone older whose brain doesn't absorb information as well these days I found the workshop engaging, informative and presented in a way I could understand and connect with. Throughout the workshop it also endorsed that some of my interaction with my son is correct and some I need to fine tune. I'm so glad I took advantage and opportunity to attend the workshop and came away feeling more empowered and confident to tackle some of the challenging situations I find myself in with my adult son. If you have the opportunity to attend a workshop with Kayla i'm sure you will benefit greatly from her years of experience and knowledge.
